Sizing Guide

"Before you start shopping you may find the following information useful when selecting your items for size, style, fabric and care."
With over 20 years of experience in the clothing industry, fitting and measuring, we have compiled the following guidelines to ensure you will be happy when your new garments arrive.
Spending a little time at the beginning selecting the right size will save you a lot of time later on if you have to return any garments because they don't fit you.

When measuring for a Suit Jacket...
  • 1. Keeping the tape well under your arms, measure around the largest part of the chest, keep the tape measure level, and allow some give .
  • 2.  It is often a good idea to check your existing jacket, giving  you a good indication, if you have look at the size label for the chest and type of fitting (regular, short or long) for comparison.
Waistcoat...
  • 1. Take the chest measurement the same as the jacket. The waistcoats are only available in regular fittings.
Trousers...
  • 1. Tucking your shirt into your trousers, measure around where you would like the trousers to fit on your waist.
  • 2. Measure the inside leg of an existing pair of trousers that you are happy with the length of. The measurement is taken from the top of the inside leg (at the crutch) to the trouser bottom.
  • 3. If your trouser leg measurement is in between sizes always order the longer leg.
Its always easier to get someone to measure you, use a tape measure and make a note of all your sizes.
As all our suits are sold with mix and matching sizes so there is never a problem should you need to exchange, or require a new pair of trousers at a later date.
